THE POTOMAC — August (Manchester EP, 2011)
Here’s a video for a song from The Potomac, a new band from Blacksburg, VA. The video features a new version of ‘August’ that was mixed by Dream Cop (Tommy Davidson), giving it a little more of a boost -but even the original is just as likely to get you dancing. Each song on the EP represents one month from a five-month period spent in Manchester, New Hampshire… this is part one.
Another video, for the song ‘October,’ can be found here and features a similar vintage found-footage aesthetic.
The Potomac released their debut EP, Manchester, a few weeks ago and can be downloaded from their Bandcamp for however much you want to pay. Highly recommended!
